    greetings from Manu (india)
    I am experiencing a problem since this morning – PDFs are not opening in browser tab instead they are getting downloaded despite Correct Settings. (till yesterday everything was fine and no Update or New plugin is installed in meantime)
    Please check if such difficulty is faced by others and advice me.

    Hi @manujks,

    We haven’t received any other complaints about this. Could you set the ‘How do you want to view the PDF’ option to download (hit Save Changes) and then set the option to open in new browser tab (hit Save Changes).

    If that doesn’t fix the problem is it possible that a third party plugin or some custom code is altering your settings? Have you recently installed a plugin or added some code that could explain this?

    Thanks for the suggestions, though i tried the all of these with no success but ur msg triggered the thought that it might be the browser problem as there was no new plugin updated/installed except some security update of firefox so i tested with Chrome and it functioned properly. The problem was with Firefox Quantam 67.0.4. I refreshed it and now it is working smoothly.
