PDF Invoices & Packing Slips requires WooCommerce to be installed & activated!

  • Hello,

    After upgrading to the latest WooCommerce version (Version 3.5.1), I have the following error message, when activating the plugin again:
    WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips requires WooCommerce to be installed & activated!

    WooCommerce is installed and activated (as you can see from the web site).
    PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin used to work ok before the WooCommerce upgrade.

    Note that I am using the OceanWp theme (with a child theme) and a couple of others plugins have similar issues (Woocommerce Wishlist, Cross Sell Products Display).

    Did you install WooCommerce in a folder named differently than plugins/woocommerce? If so, the issue will probably be resolved if you use the official naming structure.

    Indeed, because the WooCommerce update went wrong, I did first renamed the WooCommerce directory (to disable the plugin – without effect, I then renamed the plugins directory which disabled all plugins). And I forgot to renamed it correctly, once (nearly) all was back to normal.

    Thanks again for your help, after switching the names back to normal, all is working fine.
