PDF indexing

At present we have a static website. Part of this website has a few pages linked to PDF datasheets stored in the root of the website. Google has indexed all these so when searching for specifics that are stored in those PDF’s we appear high up the natural listings, we like that !

With our planned change to have a new website made with WordPress and the fact that we will have to upload the pdf’s into the media area will Google still index those PDF files and carry on making us happy ?
