I have a question. I installed your plugin locally on the test site.

I also installed the Tablepress plugin and made a couple of test tables.

After I put the test table in the editor via shortcode and visited the post, I clicked on the icon to generate the page in pdf. When I opened the pdf, the table was not displayed to me as a table but I got a shortcode from the table.

Have you ever tested it that way? Is it possible to print a table when entering a table via shortcode on a post?

Another note. When I choose the gutenberg block ‘Table’ and when I go to generate a page in pdf, it normally makes me a table in pdf.

  • Hello,

    Thanks for using our plugin,

We haven’t checked our plugin’s compatibility with the Tablepress plugin.

Table border is not visible in pdf but if you want a border on the table you can just apply the custom CSS after that border on the table will be visible in pdf.

I don’t think we figured out what the problem is.

The problem: no data is in the generated pdf from the table I made via the Tablepress plugin, I only get the shortcode printed in the pdf: [table id = 1].

Also, when I set the title and description of the table via the Tablepress plugin, all the data is displayed on the post.
When I generate a pdf, I do not get any text (title, description) related to the table in it

    Hello,

Currently, the PDF generator plugin is not compatible with the table press plugin that is why you are facing this issue.

Will you make these two plugins compatible in the near future?

Because somehow it is better to make tables via the Tablepress plugin (you can use the created table in several places) and place a shortcode in the editor than to make a table directly in the editor and use it in one place.

    Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion We will surely look into it.

Great, thank you for your time!

Let me know if you set these two plugins to be compatible.

    Hello,

You’re welcome, if we do then we will update it,

    Thank you
