pdf: File name changed

    Hello, I run a webshop for downloading sheet music. At the moment I cannot download or open PDF files after I have uploaded them (as a product). I see that the name of the file is changed when uploading. My host has informed me that there must be a problem with an optimization plugin. I only use the EWWW Image Optimizer. Do you have an idea for a solution?

    Hi @stephanbecker

    Generally our plugin doesn’t do too much with PDFs, other than using built-in tools to maybe compress it, but I’m fairly certain it’s not changing the name of the file. I think the first thing I would try is to turn off the compression in EWWW IO and see if that does fix it. You can do that on the local tab of the plugin settings. If you can’t see the local tab, you will need to enable Ludicrous Mode (via the orange button at the top of the Essentials tab). Then, on the local tab, you can select “No Compression” from the PDF dropdown. Then I would try uploading a new PDF and seeing how it goes.
