PDF Embed Actual Size
-
Hey Support
Thanks for the grate plugin!Current it is set to ‘Automatic Zoom’. However I would like to change the default to ‘Actual Size’.
How can I achieve that?
-
Just would like to add that I am using Elementor.
I found the file that creates the view but I would rather not change it directly in the plugin.Hi @pothound ,
Hope you are doing well.Actually, you can set the zoom from the elementor page builder and whatever you set from the page view setting, it will remain the same on the front-end also. But the users can change the view also from the front-end. Please check this screencast to get the detail: https://d.pr/v/vHgcES
Here, I set the page view as ‘Page fit’, so on the front-end also, it shows the same ‘Page fit’ view.
However, thank you so much for your idea. We will try to implement this feature in our next few releases.
Let me know if you have further queries or need assistance.
Thank you.
Have a good day!Hey @amitbarai013
thank you very much for your quick reply!
Tested it and it works in Firefox but not in Google Chrome?
https://gator2116.temp.domains/~caribshi/main-menu/Any idea?
Have a good day too!Hi @pothound,
It seems strange. I have tested this on my end using Google Chrome and the screencast that I sent you is from Google Chrome. I didn’t find any issue on Google Chrome or any other browser. Please make sure you clear the browser cache/try from the incognito mode. Also, please check by disabling the chrome extensions as some extensions may create issues.
Let me know how it goes.
Thank you.Hi @amitbarai013
Yep very strange now it does not even work in FF anymore.
Cleared Cache/history everything.
Will see what the client says and in the worst case I will hardcode it in the viewer file.
Thank you!Hi @pothound ,
We are really sorry to hear that. It seems a very unusual issue, as it is working fine on our end on all browsers. So, there may any other reason that creates such an issue. Since, we need to investigate the issue deeply, so you can contact us here: Contact Us so that our dev team can investigate this issue and assist you.
Thank you.
@amitbarai013 By asking the OP to contact you off-site, I’m hopeing you’re not about to ask for a login to their site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.
It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.
There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.
- Ask for a link to the https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com log of the user’s web server error log.
- Ask the user to create and post a link to their
phpinfo();
output. - Ask the user to install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
- Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
- Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
- Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.
You get the idea.
Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
Thank you @amitbarai013 for your offer.
And thank you @sterndata and I do agree with you. I can not just give access to the admin area.
Amit, is there any information I can provide you that will help?
I have Elementor installed with OceanWP as the theme.
