There isn’t currently a live preview from the PDF Settings page. What you can do is save the settings and then view the PDF from the Entry List page. As PDFs are generated on demand, any changes you make will be automatically reflected in the document.
If the form is already live, it’s a little more work to update so that you don’t accidentally send out an unfinished update. It’s recommended to duplicate the PDF first, uncheck any Notifications in the duplicate settings, and then make your edits to the duplicate. Save when done. Make sure you activate the duplicate PDF first, and then you can view it on the Entry List page. Once happy, re-enable any Notifications and/or update the PDF download links, as required, and deactivate the original. You could also copy/paste any changes back to the original PDF, then remove the duplicate.
We’re aware this isn’t a seamless process for users, and our team are actively working on improving the entire PDF editing workflow.
