My client just sent me PDF files to show in place of image ads. The reason for this is adding multiple links on the PDF itself. How do I show PDF ads using Advanced Ads? Thank you.

    Hi iantui,

    Thanks for reaching out.

How do I show PDF ads using Advanced Ads? Thank you.

I assume this depends on the way you’re using to create your PDF files.

Advanced Ads works as a WordPress plugin to inject code snippets or images into your website and needs the WordPress framework to work properly. If you find a way to create PDF files based on WP pages, it might be possible to include ads here.

I have just tried using your website as a source and the print option “print to PDF”. This includes the placed images ads on your page and their outgoing links as well.

Does this answer your question? If not, please let me know in detail what you want to achieve.

    Best regards,
    Henning

I’m talking about using PDF files to show as ads instead of JPG image files. I’m thinking of using iframes to show them. Maybe it’s the most direct way of showing these PDF ads.

    Hi iantui,

    Thanks for the clarification.

You’ll find additional information about embedding HTML5 ads using an Iframe right here in the manual.

I expect the process of using PDF files to be similar.

If you have additional questions about Advanced Ads, please let me know.

    Best regards,
    Henning
