using the last version and I’m experiencing the same issue specifically with the responsive template and shortcode: [pdb_list template=responsive search=true class=”pdb-list-grid”]. It seems to be specific to the responsive template. The text PDb_List displaying in the first grid and then the record #1 displays in the next grid. Please advise.

Are you using the latest version of the plugin?

Yes, verified that I’m using the latest version which was updated a few days ago.

    Issue still persists.

The update should have cleared that out, this was an issue a while back, but it’s been fixed for a long time…are you using a custom template or did you copy the list template from the plugin to your theme?

I’m using Version: 1.8.4.7 of the plugin. The short code used was copied from your website: [pdb_list template=responsive class=”pdb-list-grid”]. I don’t know much about custom templates and I am not using one.

Are you saying I need copy files somewhere for this to work?

You don’t need to, but if you had copied the template to a location where the plugin is looking for it, it would override the one in the plugin itself. That would explain why the update did not fix the problem.

But it sounds like you’re not doing that.

I can only suggest you reinstall the plugin. Deactivate it, then delete it using FTP or your file manager. Don’t delete it from the plugin page in the WP admin, you’ll lose all of your data.

Once you’ve deleted the plugin files, you can reinstall the plugin normally.

I tried that and the issue still persists.

Try clearing the server cache, you’ve got old code in there, but the reinstall will completely replace it, so something is keeping the old code active.

Also, you can go right to the file itself and make sure that it does not contain the line that is showing that text. wp-content/participants-database/templates/pdb-list-responsive.php

    Fixed with most recent update.
