    Hi Roland

I’ve just bought the multi-search add-on from you. I’m using the shortcode as follows

    [pdb_list template=multisearch fields=”first_name,last_name,male_or_female,looking_for_care”]

I search on the fields male_or_female and looking_for_care. I have defined the search criteria within the multi-search settings in the backend. That suggests that if I want to use the shortcode in another part of my site, that I can only use it with the same search criteria fields.

I would like to use the shortcode with different search criteria and therefore my question is, can I pass my search criteria along with the fields I want listed inside the shortcode.

I’ll give you an example using the above shortcode

    [pdb_list template=multisearch search_criteria=”male_or_female,looking_for_care” fields=”first_name,last_name,male_or_female,looking_for_care”]

    Thank you

If you are using multisearch, you can use the “search_fields” attribute of the shortcode to set which fields are shown in the multisearch. You can’t do that with the combo search, however.

    I’m using the multisearch option.

Absolutely wonderful Roland, best $20 I’ve spent. It works a treat and I can use it throughout the site with different search options.

If you were a bit closer I would buy you a pint.

    Many thanks
