    Hi,

    We had a issue recently where someone made an order on Woo, then while processing their payment on PayPal changed their shipping address to their credit card billing address. This new information did not make it back to Woo, so we had a shipping address that was very different to the one PayPal accepted, which is a worry as PayPal Seller Protection requires us to ship to the address they have on file.

    Is there any way to get Woo to update the sent address on receipt of the IPN notification? I’m worried, as I can see this has massive potential for fraudulent behaviour.

    Hello @handford,

    This can be a tricky spot to be in. PayPal’s API doesn’t return changes in the address that are made at PayPal.com so WooCommerce doesn’t have a way to receive the changes back.

    You can enable the address override feature to prevent changes from being made at PayPal.com. It can cause issues, but it may be worth looking into.
