    Hello-

I had contacted you about 4 weeks ago in regard to a problem I am having with the “In Stock” status on the WooCommerce All Products tab not changing to “Out of Stock” status when inventory hits zero while making sales with the Zettle terminal for sales.

The inventory will sync to zero in WooCommerce WordPress, but it still shows “In Stock” unless I go in the product listing and hit the “UPDATE” button under Publish.

I have deactivated all my plugins as you stated and retested with just WooCommerce and the Paypal Zettle POS plugins running. I am still having the problem so I know it is the theme I am using, Shop Isle Theme 1.1.46. This theme is free and no longer supported by the maker, ThemeIsle.

I am running WooCommerce 7.6.0, Zettle Paypal POS 1.5.5 and WordPress 6.2. Can you please advise if there is a fix that can be created for this bug? I would hate to update my theme, but I guess I may have no choice. Thanks.

    Hello @jpoer456

Welcome back! Sorry to hear you still did not get this resolved.
Have you already tried to replace the theme with the default theme Storefront (while disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments) to see if the behavior persists?

If you can confirm the issue is caused by the theme, then you have 2 options:
    1) Change theme
    2) Get a developer to investigate and correct your current theme.

We can’t spend our developer’s time on resolving issues for correcting behavior of themes, especially when these themes are no longer supported. There are many free themes and, I would expect that changing the theme, will be the easiest and most future-proof solution.

If this is not related to the theme, you might want to engage us privately, so we can share information easier and take a closer look. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi,

Just wanted to give you an update and let you know I switched themes to Astra Pro, all plugins are updated, and after a completed new product library replace sync (which is problematic as you have to keep refreshing the page as it gets stuck in the sync process) I am still having a problem with the stock status not changing to out of stock status on the WooCommerce All roducts page if the inventory is changed to zero via the Zettle Terminal. I am positive it is a problem on your end as disabling plugins doesn’t solve the problem and I have an updated theme. There is nothing else I can possibly check. Here is the website https://www.theshepherdsknot.com and if you would like more information let me know. Thanks.

    Hello @jpoer456

This low stock setting is currently not synced items for our plugin, but after your message, we have opened a request to get this added (Add “low stock notification/alert” to synced attributes.) However, we currently don’t have much progress on developing new features on this plugin, and this will stay in our backlog until we get approval from the Zettle/PayPal for funding in order to develop this. For this reason, there is no expected timeline for such request, and it could take a long time before it gets done.

If you believe this is another issue that we should take a closer look at, you can still open a private support thread with us, so we can exchange more details on this matter.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

No, I think this has been the problem from the start. It would have been beneficial to know the stock/out of stock alert wasn’t a synced attribute before you had me testing, deactivating plugins, and changing themes. This is my third time I have contacted you and gone through hoops. I am going to reach out to Zettle/Paypal, because if I can’t get what I need out of the POS integration for WooCommerce than I am just waisting my time and money. Thanks.

Sure, I reached out to them yesterday and they did confirm you have made the request and that the stock status field does not sync. There are also other user friendly items that need to be fixed. Hopefully that can happen as I really like the product. It is a little glitch but makes life harder. Other than that, it is a perfect solution for our business. Thanks!
