    According to PayPal’s API error documentation

    The merchant account attempting the transaction is not a business account at PayPal. Check your account settings.

    That means you must not even have Payments Pro enabled on the account you’re trying to setup, so that’s going to need to get done before you can get this working, and then this error will go away.

    I am receiving the same error. However, my account is already a PayPal US business account. Any recomendations to resolve this problem?

    @jugadelpi, Are you absolutely sure? The error is very specific. Do you have Payments Pro fully active on the account?
