This often happens to me when there is a discount applied and Jigoshop and PayPal don’t see eye to eye on a cent or two.

Thanks LPAM, I have tried it again myself with no discounts and have received the same error. Looking at the PayPal statement the invoice number is correct. But, in Jigoshop the order is on-hold and the same error is shown in the comments box.
