Paypal Transaction Description

  • Hi

    Loving the plugin, is there a way to get the event title into the paypal transaction description? We have a couple of events running so would be good to be able to see the paypal transactions easily for each event?

    You could, I suppose. You’d need to cycle through the shopping cart and get each individual event represented in the cart added to the description, since there’s no guarantee that any given purchase contains tickets for only one event.

    There’s no filter on that text at this time, so your easiest path would be to duplicate the PayPal gateway in its entirety and install it as a new gateway. I can add the needed filter and you can wait for that, instead.

    Thanks Joe, I can wait for a filter – not sure what I will do with that, but I assume it will make it easier!
