Paypal Total Not The Same as Calculated Total

The issue that I am having is with registering multiple cars for a car show. You can have a maximum of 12 entries and then order some extras (shirts/tickets). The first 2 entries work great, calculated total is correct and hit submit button and correct total is sent to Paypal. But, if you select 3 or more entries, the calculated total is correct, but only the total from the first 2 entries is sent to Paypal. For example, a single entry is $45 and each additional is $20 with a $3 transaction fee. So, the first 2 entries total $68 with the transaction fee. That’s all great. And, if they choose to add on extra items, like shirts and tickets, those total correctly and go to Paypal correctly. But, if they choose a 3rd entry or more, the calculated total would be $88 for 3 entries, but Paypal shopping cart is only $68, the total of the first 2 entries. I am completely stumped.
