    Hello,
    I am currently using PayPal Standard which is native to WooCommerce. This works fine, but it says it is recommended to use the PayPal Payments plugin from now on. However, the very negative opinions and the many bugs of this plugin do not encourage me to migrate to this new solution.
    Until when PayPal Standard will be maintained and when the migration to the PayPal Payments plugin will become mandatory?

    This is a good question. PayPal is a secure payment gateway, PayPal standard is still available and it is ok to use. To clarify, Paypal doesn’t have plans to retire Paypal Standard yet. However, as you already know it is hidden for new installs, for more information please check:

    We highly recommend migrating to PayPal Payments This includes features such as Pay later, credit card, subscriptions, and more, it is a plugin that covers the PayPal standard limitations so that you can offer your customers more alternatives when paying with PayPal. So thinking about your customers first is a win-win strategy. ??
