Paypal split payment setup

  • HI there,

    I have messaged support at Themeum but not heard, and need this sorting,

    We are using wp crowdfunding plugin and need to setup the PayPal to pay 95% to the person funding and 5% to the site account, but cant seem to work out how? as Paypal Adaptive payments seems to not be in use any more? How can we set payments form the site to split payments like this?

    We have woo setup but cant find any info on this? cheers Paul

    to have the feature of splitting the percentage of money in the site you will have to use the wallet addon and set the settings https://prntscr.com/sew4tg this is an example of how to do this. If you use the wp crowdfunding wallet then whenever a campaign creator wants to withddraw they will get the percentage of the money not the full. And the rest will be for the admins to keep. when a campaign owner will go to see his payments he will see something like this https://prntscr.com/sewaq6 will see the receivable amount and that is the amount they will be able to withdraw.     thanks so much for the info, so it seems to just use a normal PayPal account and nt adaptive payments. Because it uses the Wallet?

    Ok, SO my only other thing now is where and how does the campaign owner add their payment email? Ie where the payments go to ? As it seems blank in the dashboard

    Hello there

    To have the payment for the campaign owners. The owners need to make a withdraw request. To do that they will have to go to payment option from their dashboard in the wp crowdfunding dashboard page. There they will see the withdraw option. When they make a withdraw request the admin will have to make the payment manually. To split the share you will have to go to wp crowdfunding settings wallet options there you will see the commission that you can set for the campaign owner. https://www.themeum.com/introducing-native-wallet-system-wp-crowdfunding-plugin/ you can check out this page to understand it better.

    Ohhh.so every withdrawal has to be manually paid out by the site admin to the campaigns?

    That is not good….
