Paypal showing completed payment, woocommerce showing pending payment

    Hi,

    I have an issue where I’m selling digital downloads, all products are both Virtual and Downloadable so should auto complete by default. Since Jan 20, most, but not all sales have run into an issue where the sale happens successfully, customer gets their reciept, is able to download product, I have the cash in my paypal, BUT it is not updating the order status to completed and is instead showing “payment pending” even though it’s completed on paypals end.

    This means that my commissions won’t payout wiht my WC Marketplace plugin.

    It seems to be something either involving paypal or woocommerce, but I can’t work out how to resolve, or get all the successfully completed transactions to update short of doing it manually.

    Which PayPal gateway are you using on your site? PayPal Standard in core WooCommerce? Or are you using a different PayPal integration/plugin?

    Since I haven’t heard back in a while, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved.

    However, if you are using PayPal Standard, I would recommend trying the steps in this section of the docs:
