I have seen this tutorial and read it for a few times already, it does not show how to connect those PayPal profiles with items on WordPress.

Any other help?

I’m wondering why this is listed as resolved – I’m having the same issue and don’t see a resolution.

Paypal shipping profiles offer the option to use weight to determine the shipping cost. If there is no way to link that piece of information, then there is no way to use the profile based shipping. Are we missing something?

I am using [wp_cart_button name=’10×14 Karastan 718 Rug’ price=’1854′] shortcode.

The tutorial shows how to setup shipping profiles on PayPal but there is no information on how to provide a weight of each item and link it to PayPal shipping profiles.

@svlevchik, The free simple cart plugin doesn’t have the option to specify weight for each product. The premium version has that option.

If you choose ‘per weight’ as the basis for your shipping profile, then the weight option comes up when you create an ‘add to cart’ button on paypal’s website. However, this means creating a new button via paypal every time you add a product.
