Paypal section on checkout page greyed out/stuck loading

I’ve been trying to make the Paypal checkout option work with my website but when I add products and try to checkout, the paypal part of the checkout page is greyed out and is stuck on loading. So far I’ve tried disabling all plugins and changing my theme to Storefront. Please help.
