Paypal sandbox mode not updating user status

  • I’m new to this plugin and it seems to be the best out there for what I want. I am not using the pro version as the free version provides enough for me for now. I am currently testing the paypal payments in sandbox mode.

    I am able to make a dummy payment which then takes me back to the confirmation page of my site but when I check the user status it remains as “subscriber”. I was expecting it to change to s2member level 1.

    I am on localhost. Any ideas or suggestions as to what I am doing wrong will be greatly appreciated.

    Worked it out, I hadn’t entered the Payment Data Transfer token in the backend, doh! Apologies
