You can change the PayPal address to the sandbox into the file dex_reservations.php,line #510. This will be a configuration parameter in the next version of the plugin.

The pro version supports disabling PayPal, plugin page: https://wordpress.dwbooster.com/calendars/cp-reservation-calendar

The plugin doesn’t have an option to postpone the payment but we can offer you our custom coding services to adapt it exactly to your needs. If you want to request a customization please send your message to our support service: https://wordpress.dwbooster.com/contact-us

    Thank you!

Hi CP, thanks for your reply!
I changed the address to that of the sandbox, as you suggested, but it doesn’t seem to fully work. I mean, the whole payment process through the sandbox goes well, but the days selected are not marked as reserved on the calendar and there is no Reservations button in the settings page of CP Reservations Clendar. So the sandbox says that the test-buyer paid the amount due for a seven day rental to the test-merchant, but nowhere in the calendar nor in the backend is showed that those days are now taken and therefore they are not available for the next customers.
Do I have to block those days “manually”?
    Best regards

Hi, I understand that you didn’t received the confirmation/notification emails after the sandbox payment, right? If possible, could you open a ticket at our support service and provide the page URL there so we can check the sandbox configuration applied and the issue in detail? Our support service address is https://wordpress.dwbooster.com/contact-us

Yes, you are right, no confirmation/notification email was sent.
If sending/receiving those emails is necessary in order for the plugin to automatically “mark” as reserved the days, then my problem might well be related to my localhost environment which sends email via Gmail using the plugin Configure SMTP.
I would open the ticket but unfortunately I don’t have a real test website and you can’t access my ‘localhost’ website.
    Thanks!

Ok, the problem is that PayPal cannot make a connection to your local computer to send the payment notification.

Let me explain, after payment PayPal makes a connection back to the website to notify that the payment was completed, at that point the emails are sent and the appointment is saved into the calendar.

To be able to receive the PayPal notification, the website must have an address accessible through Internet, and ‘localhost’ is a local name not reachable through Internet, that’s why you aren’t getting the PayPal notification, emails and appointments saved.

Got it, thanks for the explanation! ??
