None of our membership is being sent to paypal to pay their dues. (It is being logged as sent and pending, but the screen just says thank you.) The last successful submission was apparently February 2020.

Paypal & Stripe: v1.8.2 – All updates available have been applied and when you search for this plugin, that is the version that displays.
    CF7 v5.3.2

Make sure your server is running PHP 5.6+. – v7.0.33

Go to the plugins settings page. Change the redirect method to “2”. – Done – still not working.

The following plugins can cause problems: (I am guessing these are different plugins, not settings?)
Contact Form 7 – Success Page Redirects – Not installed
Contact Form 7 Redirection – Not installed
Contact Form 7 Captcha – Not installed
Contact Form Submissions – Not installed and not found
CF7 Smart Grid Design Extension – Not installed

We do have other plugins, none related to CF7.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m not able to reproduce the issue you’re having – I visited your website and filled out the form. A success message loaded and then a few seconds later I was taken to PayPal: https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpu7m0px

Hi. I cannot see what browser you are using. I can see that it went and I don’t understand how you got it to go. I cannot get it to work in Chrome or Edge. I have cleared the cache on my pc and on the website. (I cannot ask our membership who are often elderly to clear their cache.) This is not an isolated problem. Many people have called to complain. Do you have thoughts on next steps?

Scott….Have you had any luck? I do have some additional info. Apparently we are not running the most current version of PHP. Would that cause the issue?

    Thanks.

We released an update to our plugin today that resolves an issue with some redirect links not working properly. We believe this update may solve your issue. Please try the following steps:

    1. Disable any existing cache/minifier/CDN plugins you have installed.
    2. Update WordPress and plugins to the latest version.
    3. Clear your browser cache.
    4. Test your form.

Please let us know if this solves the issue you’re having. We’ve tested a couple of customer websites and it appears to be fixed, but we’ll need further confirmation from additional users to know for sure. Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

Hi. Unfortunately, this is still not working. (Plugin version 1.8.3) Do you think it could have anything to do with our PHP version?

    Hi @awatsonmaston,

Sorry to hear it isn’t working for you yet!

PHP 7 shouldn’t cause any problems.

Are you seeing errors in your PHP error log?

    Thanks,
    Scott

No errors in PHP, just was wondering if 7.0 needed upgrade. I was grasping at straws. Thank you.

Hi can anyone who faced this problem please kindly advise how you solved it? I’m also facing this all of a sudden and I have changed from Cookies to sessions and Redirect Method 1 and 2 but to no avail.

We haven’t solved it. On Chrome it eventually (very delayed) goes to Paypal. On Microsoft Edge is does not go at all. Ever. My plan at this point is to create a new payment page and not utilize this plugin.

What version of Microsoft Edge? It’s odd that it works in Chrome but not Edge, considering that Edge is powered by Chromium.

Hi. So when I say that it goes through on Chrome, it was a mistake that I figured this out because it took so long, I wasn’t checking anymore. Later……I saw that PayPal had come up, but it takes so long no one would wait for it.

Edge: Version 89.0.774.57 (Official build) (64-bit)
Chrome: Version 89.0.4389.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I can’t reproduce the issue in Edge you’re having on our testing site. Please try to disable your custom theme and other plugins to test if it’s a compatibility issue with one of those.

    I’m also having this issue.
Form submits correctly, but is never redirected.
I’ve run through all recommendations here :
    https://wpplugin.org/documentation/contact-form-7-form-does-not-submit/

Is there an update on this before I go looking for another solution?
