I am using PayPal Standard for recurring Payment. I have set up 1 day subscription to make sure it’s working. But it’s not working. What am I doing wrong?

At the bottom of the Woo Commerce – CheckOut tab, this is what I see,

    Recurring Payments

No payment gateways capable of processing automatic subscription payments are enabled.

What do I need to do to make this work?

    Thanks!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @shawnanbu

The payment gateway should support recurring payment in order to make automatic subscription payments. Please share the link/zip of the plugin using for checkout, so I can tell whether it supports subscription payment.

Not sure if I understand your question.

Do you want to know the version of the Woo Commerce plugin that I am using?

Here is the link to the WooCommerce.

    https://woocommerce.com/

    The version is, 3.2.6.

    Thanks!!

I am sorry, I am not familiar with Payment Gateway setup.

I don’t know If I need to use anything else other than Woo Commerce, Pay Pal and HF subscription.

What Payment Gateway should I use with Woo Commerce, Pay Pal and HF subscription?

    Thanks!!

If you could send a test email to my gmail account, I can send you a screenshot of woo-commerce setup. Unfortunately, there is no option here to send a screenshot or a file.

    Thanks!!

    Hi @shawnanbu

Those three plugins are enough but I was just asking whether your PayPal plugin supports recurring payments. Please contact in Skype @mark_35997 so I can check this in your site itself.

I have sent you a request on skype.

I have the same problem. There is a message in WooCommerce settings page > checkout.

No payment gateways capable of processing automatic subscription payments are enabled.

I have WooCommerce and HF WooCommerce Subscriptions plugins, otherwise there is a Regenerate Thumbnails plugin which has nothing related.

For payment gateway I have only setup for PayPal. All other are disabled.

It’s a bit hidden in paypal but from what I found “Paypal Standard” for WC Subscriptions is outdated.

    https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/express-checkout/integration-guide/ECReferenceTxns/

Use woocommerce gateway paypal express checkout. It’s also free and is built specifically for using with subscriptions. After I switched to this I was set to go within 30min using the sandbox setup.

    https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout/

Sorry, but paypal express checkout also not working.
    Still showing this message.

No payment gateways capable of processing automatic subscription payments are enabled.

And there is no auto payment action for subscription product in next cycle.
Or are there any additional setup? Please guide me how to?

I also need to figure this out. I have paypoal standard and it shows the recurring payments checked but at the bottom ” No payment gateways capable of processing automatic subscription payments are enabled.” More instructions on how to setup paypal to work with this plugin is needed. Please and thanks.

You can also check out plasso.com for recurring payments. They’re built on Stripe but they got a plug-in thats quick and simple. Plus the design is nice.

You need to use PayPal Powered by Braintree for subscription products: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/
