    The error message:

This transaction cannot be processed. The merchant’s account is not able to process transactions.

Is it possible, that we have to setup the not free PayPal Payments Pro option within the PayPal account?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi @webreneszansz

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

Can you please confirm that the recurring payment module is enabled inside your PayPal merchant account?

The PayPal Website Payments Pro requires an additional module to accept recurring payments via the API/PayPal “flavor”.

Another test you can try is to use a discount code to set an initial price only (not recurring) and see if the checkout works correctly.

    Hi,

Can you please let me know, what is the detailed setup for Paid Membership Pro to make possible accept also recurring payments?

I checked the docióumentation, but in vain.

There are tree plans on the website, one of these start with free month and than £7 / month, the other two plans are £12 / per quarter and £24 / per 6 months.

The recurring payment is enabled and all of the plans were created within PayPal.

    Thank you very much!

Did your single payment checkout work as intended or did you still receive this error?

That merchant error you receive indicates it’s an issue with the PayPal account and not the code itself. You may reach out to PayPal support to see if there are any errors on your account (or any API requests that failed and why).

    Hi,

    We have only recurring payments.

    This setup is completed.

    Thank you.

Could you please run a test checkout with a single time payment, this will help determine if there is an issue with your account accepting recurring payments via PayPal.

You may create a discount code to set the price to a one-time fee and then delete this after your tests.

Please let me know if this test checkout works.
