    Hi,
I have seen a lot of people having the error “PayPal Powered by Braintree did not supply a payment nonce” when they use the WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree plugin. I tried everything from a new VM. Here is my VM info:
    OS: Windows 2012 R2
    PHP: 7.1.1
SOAP client: status is OK showed on the status page
    Wordpress: 4.7.2
    WooCommerce: 2.6.14
WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree Gateway: 1.2.7
    Twenty Seventeen: 1.1
Braintree: using sandbox and has paypal enabled
Browser: Chrome, IE and Firefox with latest version
Check out page has [woocommerce_checkout] and I have never changed the checkout page.

The VM is new and it is clean. There are no other plugins and themes installed and activated.

If I check out by credit card (paypal), it works. But if I check out by paypal, it shows “Error: PayPal Powered by Braintree did not supply a payment nonce. Please try again later or use another means of payment.”

    Please advise. Thanks.

    Hi there!

PayPal Powered by Braintree did not supply a payment nonce is a pretty common issue, but it usually also has an easy solution.

Can you please verify that PayPal is enabled on your Braintree account? You can find more information on this here: https://articles.braintreepayments.com/guides/paypal/setup-guide

If PayPal is enabled, then it’s very likely a conflict. You’ve mentioned that nothing else is installed on the site. If you’re still running into trouble, please create a ticket at Woocommerce.com, mentioning this forum thread and including admin credentials so that we can take a closer look.

    Thanks!
