• Unfortunately the plugin is not usable and I can only advice to not use the plugin. There is actually no room for any technical errors when it comes down to the checkout process since its one of the most critical steps for any eCommerce seller. I am actually quite baffled that PayPal is suggesting this plugin as their PayPal Plus plugin. Especially when taking into account that we sellers pay often quite high transaction fees.

Two issues which I came across immediately when testing:
    1. Error when using wrong locals (WordPress language, eg. en-US)
    2. iframe is not loading, once the customer cancels the PayPal checkout step (either after redirected to PayPal or when going back to the cart or any other page). The iframe will load again, once the zip code or city is changed. However, a request should happen whenever the page is loaded and the customer billing fields are not empty.

For now I have to stay with multiple PSPs in the hope that this plugin will work in the near future.

    Hello @deza90

thank you for your review> Maybe you can give us a chance to have a closer look at your problems. Currently, I can’t find any thread you opened for it. Also, I can find any email that has been sent to us with your problems.

Our plugin is available in German and English but as you can read on the Site of PayPal Plus and also in plugin FAQ PayPal Plus is working in Germany only. Maybe this might cause your issue. Can you please confirm you were using an address, zip code and city from Germany only? Addresses outside Germany don’t work and PayPal may not show all available payment options.

If the client’s IP is outside Germany it might be the iframe appears after the client entered an address in Germany. PayPal verifies in the background the entered data of the client. That means if a client is using an IP from e.g. France the iframe will show nothing because PayPal Plus wouldn’t work in France, so it shows after. If the client is using an IP from Germany it should show up directly.

But please understand this issue can have more reasons. Also, the theme and other plugins can be the reason for it. Did you try for testing only to deactivate all other plugins and see if the iframes show up? Did you have a look at the error log files too? Mostly there you can see what cause the issue.

We would be really happy when you can change your rating because currently, you even didn’t give us any changes to help you nor here not by email. You may contact us anytime under paypalplus@inpsyde.com so we can have a closer look at your issue.

    Thank you
    Best regards
    Andreas
