    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

In order to help you, we would really need some more information. Which request is being sent often? The plugin logs most API requests in the plugin logs, we would like to see those logs. Also, a screenshot of your API calls in their PayPal account may be helpful.

At this moment, we are seeing that you are using version 2.2.2 of our plugin, and we believe that 2.3.0 already improved the issue with Billing agreements endpoint being called too frequently for Reference Transactions check?(#1646). So updating the plugin, might already resolve your issue.

However, while this is the only cause of “frequent API calls” I am aware of, this should not cause any problems beyond the PayPal API logs being spammed a bit but?without?blocking further requests.

So, at this moment, we need more details from you. Please share this with us, so we can take another look.

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well).

    Pending your response.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello there,

it seems this might be related to this issue here. For now, it might be best to reach out to PayPal Merchant Technical Support and see if they know why this request is sent out so often.

However, since we did not receive any response, we will mark this thread as resolved. If MTS comes back to you with, pointing to our plugin as the cause of this, we will gladly hear back from you to take another look.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
