PayPal Pending Donation included in progress toward goal

    I undertand the mechanics of paypal standard and why contributions are stuck set to Pending. Usually it’s a user failed to complete PayPal checkout, which can be anything from they changed their mind, forgot their PP password, or whatever…

    The problem is these pending contributions are being included in the progress toward the goal. So, “we reach our $5,000 goal” even though there are $1,000 in donations that are actually pending. That’s a huge problem because now we’re actually $1,000 short of our goal even though everyone thinks we’ve met it and closed donations.

    Is there any way to fix in the future?
