    Getting the payment but form submission not saved.

    In at least one case, it was because someone had an error on the form (they tried to upload a file that was larger than the limit) but it didn’t prompt the person before they paid. Immediately after paying they got an error message.

    This is not happening with most form submissions (it has happened 3 within the past week). I believe it is only happening when the customer has made an error such as not filling out required fields, or trying to upload too large a file (I have since increased the limit to avoid this but still have payments coming through with missing form submissions after this change).

    To try to curtail this issue, I added a page break after the required fields. This worked for awhile, but then for some reason the PayPal buttons were not displaying. The only way to make the PayPal buttons display again was to remove the page break.

    Can you please make it so all forms are saved, regardless if there is an error on someone’s form?

    I just got an info from our Forminator developers that fix is on the way. It still needs to go through extensive testing to make sure that it works as expected and doesn’t affect any other part of the plugin (both existing and new code) and if it passes all the tests it will be included in next major update.

    I am having this same issue, but with a Stripe payment.
    I had someone fill out a multiple page form with a Stripe payment as the very last step. When they hit submit we got their payment, but no form submission was saved or sent… Any ideas?
    Needless to say our user was pretty frustrated as the form is pretty lengthy.

    I’m sorry for late response!

    I understand that from your point of view the issue is the same but it’s related to another payment gateway so, in a way, to another part of plugins code. It’s also a ticket created by another author and www.remarpro.com recommendation is to not “join” such tickets unless with a solution.

    We’d also need to test that separately and, if necessary, report to our developers as a separate bug. That said, please start a new, separate ticket of your own and we’ll assist you there.

    Any updates on this issue? I too am having this problem. Added code and the form submits, but then you get a flash showing paypal – then it’s gone… please help!

    Hi, can you confirm that this issue was fixed? I can’t find any mention of these problems (miscalculations and unsaved forms after PayPal payment in the changelog). I see that this was marked as resolved.

    I have checked our internal bug tracker and status is that fix for this was added to 1.13. I’ve checked with developer and it seems they missed adding it to the changelog. Sorry about that.

    A fix for this issue is included in the latest version of Forminator(1.14.7). We have done some improvements in our PayPal integration to avoid the missing submissions with PayPal payments. Please let us know if you still encounter missing submissions issue with PayPal payments after updating to 1.14.7.
