We have to manually authorize all Paypal payments that come through the plugin. The connection to Paypal is valid and active, all webhooks are working.

We have switched back to WC Paypal Standard for now, which is working fine.

    Hello @maxity,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

Sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered with our plugin. There are 2 reasons I can think of why this could be happening:

    1. The plugin is set to the intent “Authorize”. This would cause every payment to only be captured when you decide to capture it. This setting is found on the “Standard Payment” tab in the plugin settings page.
    2. The webhooks might not be received by the plugin. Have you tested the webhooks with the “Simulate” button on the “connection” tab of the settings pages?

If these 2 options don’t show any progress, I would still try to check if there is possibly a plugin conflict. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists. Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: How to test for conflicts.

Please let us know how this works out for you.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
