Dear Woocommerce Paypal Payments Support Team,

since we updated Woocommerce and Woocommerce Paypal Payments one week ago, we are experiencing a strange issue when users paying with Paypal, additional charges are applied.

In our tests on our staging environment with Paypal Sandbox it seems that this issue only occurs when using the paypal quick checkout buttons on the cart or single product page.

In that case the shipping costs appear as net value within the Paypal Quick Checkout Modal, even if the price contains the shipping costs in gross already.

On the LIVE environment we see the following order notes:

Payer action required, possibly overcharge. Payer needs to perform the following action before proceeding with payment…

We are happy to securely share our logs with you – please let us know how to proceed.

    Thanks in avance,
    Tim

This message in the order notes usually appears when you add extra taxes to an order. We need to know which plugin you are using for this, or please share any custom code you use. This is not part of the standard WooCommerce process.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
