    Hi @rd78 ,

Could you please go to “Advanced Options” (guide here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/#advanced-options ) and check what option you have selected for “Payment Action”?

If it is set to “Authorize” then that would explain why you’re required to manually capture the funds. If it’s set to “Authorize” then please change it to “Capture” so that PayPal automatically captures the funds.

Do let us know how that goes and if you need any further help from us.

Thanks for your help. I’ve just checked and it is already set to Capture.

    Thanks

    Hi @rd78,

The payment action set to ‘Capture’ is the correct setting to automatically capture funds.

This then sounds more like a PayPal issue than a WooCommerce issue. Did you try to reach out to their tech support channels and see if they can look into this?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

We’ve not heard back from you in a while so I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. Hopefully, you were able to find a way forward with the issue.

Please feel free to create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks.
