Paypal order not showing in Woocomm orders

    Hello,

    So, I had an order come through and the payment was made via PayPal but it didn’t appear in the WooCommerce orders tab.

    I de-activated and disconnected PayPal, refreshed API creds and then set everything up again. This seems to have solved the connection issue and has generated an order in the WC orders tab, but, I still can’t find the missing order from earlier.

    It shows in Paypal and I have used the “/wp-admin/post.php?post=0000&action=edit” link but it doesn’t come up with anything.

    The PayPal order doesn’t show a full breakdown of the items ordered so I have no way of telling completely what the customer has ordered. Is it possible to recover this order on the WC end?

    Hi @jsaccount

    Apologies for the trouble. The order at PayPal would usually only be captured when the WooCommerce order was successfully created.
    So when there is no WooCommerce order, there normally should also not be a paid PayPal order.

    Did you have Logging enabled in the Connection tab?
    In that case, more details about this request may be visible in the plugin log files.

    Hi Niklas,

    I’ve since resolved the issue by disconnecting PayPal and refreshing API Creds.

    Unfortunately, I’ve made the decision not to use PayPal as a payment method on my website. This is the second website that I’ve had where there is multiple issues with PayPal and I’m quite frankly fed up.

    It’s the only payment processor I have issues with and it’s fees are the highest. Hence my decision to get rid.
