I see that there are a lot of people with this problem, my form doesn’t show the PayPal link at the end of the forum like it should. I have tried a bunch of different things and nothing seems to work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @davidb77381

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

I checked the form and could see the PayPal https://monosnap.com/file/N0DhaqQNVsZMxEcGk60fIFHJNCSTZX

Are you getting the problem on any specific browser?

    Best Regards

So in Chrome it appears some of the time when some of the variable options are selected, and is gone when different variable times are selected, despite having no hidden rules associated with the PayPal link. In safari it doesn’t appear at all

I was playing around with it and made a completely new form, as soon as I made a drop down menu with mutable calculation inputs the PayPal tab broke and didn’t appear and would not reappear even after deleting the things that broke it.

    Hi @davidb77381,

At the moment, I could notice the issue occurs on every browser. On checking the console, I could notice console error and might point it would be related to a conflict.

To rule out if it’s a conflict with any other plugin could you please run a conflict test as mentioned in the following flow chart and then see how it goes?

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif

The above should help in pinpointing whether the issue is specific to Form or any other plugins.

If you still notice the same issue even after running a conflict test then please do share the form export so that we could give a closer look at the form settings and see if it’s something we could replicate on our side too.

Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any such cloud services in the next reply.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @davidb77381,

Thanks for providing us with the form export.
I was doing some tests and it seems that the issue is somewhere within the navigation and when the form is on a single page the payment buttons show up fine.
Strange thing is that I tried re-creating a similar form with pagination and there it worked without any issues.

I’m afraid that I’m unable to identify the exact cause at the moment so I have created a report for our developers to investigate this further and see if there’s a workaround and how it could be prevented from happening in future updates.
We will update you here if there’s a quick fix before the update.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hi @davidb77381,

Can you try applying this MU plugin as temporary fix and that should address the problem until an update is released:
    https://gist.github.com/wpmudev-sls/5f69022671d7c09c471ed0b6d9ae452c

All you need to do to is download the forminator-tempfix-paypal-button-issue.php file and place it inside your /wp-content/mu-plugins/ folder and that should do the trick.
If you don’t have /mu-plugins/ folder inside /wp-content/ simply create one yourself.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

Hello, this did not fix the problem. This is becoming really frustrating. When I fill out the form there is now a “send Message” button, but when you click it there is an error message reading “Error! Something went wrong during checkout and payment couldn’t be approved” this error happens on both Safari and Google Chrome

    Hi @davidb77381,

Sorry to hear about the ongoing issue. I gave a quick test with the above-shared code snippet and can confirm the given code works fine when tested on my system.

This is how what I could notice when tested on my system with the given code added as a mu-plugins:

Could we know where did you add the given code was it added inside the theme or via mu-plugins? Could you please make sure it’s added as a mu-plugins? Please check this link on how to implement the above code as a mu-plugins:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/using-wordpress/installing-wordpress-plugins/#installing-mu-plugins

Also, could we know did you try updating the Forminator plugin to the latest version? We had a new release of Forminator 4 days ago, so double-checking whether you are still testing the given code on an older version or not.

Please do let us know how that goes so that we could check further if needed. Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
