• Paypal has been working just fine up until 2 days ago: customer placed an order for downloadable products, paid, and PP set order to complete.

Now, after PP receives payment, the order is not getting the “paid” message back and therefore gets marked cancelled. The message is:

“Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending Payment to Cancelled.”

BUT, if the customer pays with a credit card, the order is processed correctly.

This means we have to keep an eye on things and when we get a PP notification with no corresponding order from the cart, we have to manually check it.

What’s changed: site was moved to a dedicated server on 12/27 and the DNS servers were changed then. However, it’s well past 48 hours now and a few do work here and there but most don’t.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    TIA – Lindee

It sounds like maybe you’re using the built in PayPal Stnadard that comes with WooCommerce, and the IPN isn’t getting hit. Is that the case or are you sure you’re using our Express Checkout option?

One thing I would recommend is to make sure you’ve cleared any caching / CDN services that might be in play in WordPress or on the new server directly.
