I updated to version 9.0.4 but this has caused an issue

Checkout page just displays text to say

    • PayPal Checkout?PayPal CheckoutAccept PayPal, PayPal Credit and alternative payment types.—— OR ——

but there is no paypal button or debit/credit card button

I rolled back to version 9.0.3 and it displays the paypal button and debit/credit card button correctly again.

The plugin shows 100% compatible with wordpress version 6.6.2 so do you have any ideas why this may be happening?

    Many thanks
    Ian

    Hello @ianttt

Apologies for being slightly behind schedule on this issue. The good news is that within the next two days, we will be releasing a new interface and design for the CC UI and Smart Button, which will also include a fix for this issue. We appreciate your patience and ask that you bear with us for just a little longer, as everything will be included in the next release.

    Thanks & regards,

    Hi

Thanks for the update. I have just updated to version 9.0.5 but there is still an issue.

Although it now shows both the paypal button and the debit/credit card button they do not appear to work.

The paypal button causes a small window to open (presumably the paypal window) but it closes again as soon as it opens and the debit/credit card button causes nothing to happen.

I will roll back to 9.0.3 in the meantime

    Many thanks
    Ian

    Hi

Unfortunately something is still not correct. The PayPal button now correctly opens the PayPal page to login but the debit/credit card button does not open up the fields to enter card details, the page appears blocked out. There is also an additional card type radio button that I would not expect to see.

I will leave this new version enabled for now so you can see.

No need to apologise as for a free plugin this has worked very well up to now.

    thanks

    Ian

    Hi Jignesh,

I have just updated to latest version.

If I have ?‘Enable advanced credit and debit card payments’ unchecked it shows the PayPal and the Debit/Credit card buttons how it previously did correctly but will still not allow me to enter card details and the page is greyed out and constantly loading once I press the debit/credit card button.

If I have ‘?Enable advanced credit and debit card payments’ checked everything is fine but I prefer it how it was by having it unchecked and showing PayPal button and Debit/Credit card buttons.

    Kind regards
    Ian
