    Good Morning,

We have discovered that when we copy and past our PayPal IPN URL in our browser, it is sending back a PayPal IPN Request Failure. This is odd because everything works from PayPal. New orders turn to processing, renewal orders are logging correctly. etc …

Any ideas why we would get that?

If you go to the URL directly, you’re not IPN, you send no data, so its correct to error out.

Ah okay. Well the lady at PayPal said that was an issue we needed to fix. So I imagine she was wrong? haha

Well and I say that by believing you completely. I doubt she knows what she is talking about. She admitted she wasn’t a tech person. We are getting an email each night about PayPal IPN failing but its referencing a URL to an old affiliate system we used years ago. So that was the reason for my original call to them.

I assume thats setup in your PayPal account in IPN settings then?

No I actually called back and it appears to have been linked to a subscription that was still active from 2013. I cancelled the subscription and notified the customer to signup through the website so he is on WooCommerce.
