  • Hello.

    1. go to WooCommerce > System Status and check the results.
    2. go to checkout > paypal tab and enable logging.
try to make a test purchase and check the log file.

PS, It appears this particular sale had no issues.

But I get a ipn failure notice from paypal, daily. The url paypal says is failing, lacks the “?” in the url, though I have the ipn entered correctly (with the ?) on paypal’s site.

    Hi,

    See below:

    1. Is your SITE URL and WordPress URL the same? You can check in Settings->General. If they’re different move your WordPress files into the site URL. Sometimes having them different causes issues.

    2. Try turning off IPN on your PayPal account. Remove the URL and disable it. This does not mean IPN is OFF per say. It will get its IPN information from WooCommerce which will accurately pass the correct IPN URL.

    I don’t have a wordpress url?

I have not tried disabling the ipn url on the paypal side, thanks.

The repetitive refund emails are being sent from woocommerce.

Paypal says that woocommerce is sending the correct url. It should be:

    https://example.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal

    They are sending
    https://example.com/wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal (missing the ?)

I don’t see anywhere in the woo settings to fix it.

I did try disabling the ipn url in paypal. The test sale went through okay, again. However, when I refunded it, I got the slew of emails sent from my site, telling me that a payment had been refunded.

I should mention, I have no problem for years…this started with the last upgrade and I’ve not been able to resolve it for months. ??
