• Ever since I upgraded WordPress, I’ve been having issues with the PayPal IPN failing. I’m running the latest version of Paid Memberships Pro. I haven’t made any notable changes to the server that I can think of except for the WordPress upgrade.

All of the IPNs seem to be failing, though some of the accounts get created properly anyway.

We had three people try to pay yesterday, which somehow resulted in five IPNs. The two orders that went through (despite the IPN failing) somehow yielded duplicate IPNs with transaction IDs, while the one that didn’t go through didn’t.

Do you have any suggestions for how we can get this issue resolved?

I should probably add that the HTTP response code is 406 and I am using PayPal Website Payments Pro, and it was working until 10/24.

I’m still having trouble with this issue. How can you help me?

Did you try the most recent PMPro update that came out a few days ago?

This is what Jason said about it:

Version 1.7.4 of Paid Memberships Pro has just been pushed to the WordPress repository. This version fixes a lot of various bugs, improves performance off the CSV exports, and added a few community translations for Italian, French and Spanish.

In particular, there were a lot of updates to the PayPal gateway integration (all flavors), so be sure to upgrade if you are using PayPal.

I did. The IPNs are unfortunately still failing.
