PayPal IPN customer billing metadata not getting populated into PMPro Order reco

    Hi there

    I have PayPal Standard setup (NO Woo) to process payments with PMPro, all working just fine including the IPNs (Paypal shows sent) and I have the current URL setup there as per PMPro settings (https://www.example.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=ipnhandler).

    Now to question. Looking at Paypal IPN data, it seems it contains customer and business names (Reference below), but I don’t see any of that IPN metadata getting populated into Order fields into PMPro with “success” status.. Is that expected? I wouldn’t think so.

    Hi @outlook9394

    Thanks for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    This should populate data inside the order, however if it’s custom fields such as business name this won’t be inserted into the Paid Memberships Pro order as we don’t automatically handle custom fields inside orders.

    You may be able to write a customized solution to handle these custom fields and save this data inside the order. You could also possibly save additional IPN data to the order notes section.

    I hope this is enough to get you started.
