Paypal integration does not work

I have set up a woocommerce store, with paypal as a method of payment.

When the plugin is activated, paypal does not come up as a method of payment that a customer can choose. However, when the plugin is deactivated, then the paypal integration works.

I have now spent money on the premium plugin and it is not doing what I need it to do. How can this be fixed? I need my store to display my local currency to my local customers, but the original prices need to be US dollars.

Assistance would be appreciated.
