PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) Warning

Hi @cheapndeal1,

Is your site’s URL https://www.yourwebsite.sg? Please make sure that it is changed to your site URL. If it still does not work, please make sure the full URL in the IPN settings are switched to https://example.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal where example.com is updated with your own URL.

Sorry, our website is https://www.takeaseat.sg/ and the IPN url failing is https://www.takeaseat.sg//wc-api/WC_Gateway_PPEC/ (Accessing the link shows empty post data).

Inside the PayPal setting, the notification url is set to https://www.takeaseat.sg/paypal/ipn/ (Which we have not changed before.. and everything was working fine until the past few days).

I have another Woocommerce website that is connected to the same PayPal account and it is working fine.

Would changing the IPN settings in PayPal to the mentioned url affect the 2nd Woocommerce website?

Just to add on, we have changed the IPN settings notification URL in PayPal to https://www.takeaseat.sg/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal. Some payments came through and when we checked the PayPal IPN history, the IPNs were sent to the listener URL https://www.takeaseat.sg/wc-api/WC_Gateway_PPEC/ which got a response of 403.

Is there any way to rectify the listener URL since we have not set it when setting up the Woocommerce store? Not sure if its Woocommerce or the plugin that automatically sets the listener URL when we started using it..

Quite odd. Instead of using the IPN, could you please test to see if just using PDT will work for you? Here’s instructions on where to find that and where to add it in the settings: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/#section-30

Well, let’s open it again, I have the same issue.
receiving PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) Warning. I cloned my website to another address. there were few orders in the processing state.

Now I removed the old website completely, PayPal is trying to send a notification but it’s failing because it’s not finding the URL.

I contacted to Paypal support and this is what they said.

Would you mind contacting your eCommerce’s technical support to change the value of this variable?

could you please let me know how to fix it?
