    This is actually a request we already have opened for some time, but did not get picked up so far. It does seem like a fairly easy thing to implement, so we will discuss it again on our next backlog meeting and see if we can get it added for a near future release.

    For now, I can advise you see if this custom code can help you get the solution added for now. I will link this thread to the feature request, so you will be made aware when this feature has been added.

    One more thing. Is it any way that payment options can be reordered on the same page?
    I would like to place PayPal as the first default option and not a credit card.

    Yes, you should be able to simply drag the payment types in WooCommerce Payments overview page in the order you would like them to show up on the checkout page.
