• I was getting dozens of these errors and had my ISP block the IP address ending in .46 and .47 Overnight I got 102 of these error notifications:

    DoExpressCheckoutPayment API call failed.

    Error Code: 10419
    Error Severity Code: Error
Short Error Message: Express Checkout PayerID is missing.
Detailed Error Message: Express Checkout PayerID is missing.
    User IP: 184.154.139.48
    Order ID: 1725
    Customer Name:
    Customer Email:

In reading the forum here I saw you recommended turning the error code to generic which I did the other day – but it is still happening. I am not using a CDN or caching. I don’t know what else to do. It seems this is some kind of bot doing it. Can you suggest another fix? I like the plugin and am using it successfully on another site.

Is there a way to require shipping information from PayPal when using Express Checkout? I realized that I need to know the shipping address for sales tax purposes. also – still getting 2 first names and no last name on sales notification.
    Thanks.

Yes, the shipping address should be getting collected on the PayPal pages and is then returned to the site for a final review page. Are you skipping the final review?

The 2 first names thing is not something I’ve had reported from anybody else, and I am not able to reproduce that myself. It sounds to me like you have some sort of a caching issue interfering with session data on your site. Can you temporarily disable any such tools and see if the issue goes away?
