Paypal express checkout and pending payment

  • I have everything working but if a customer clicks “place order” and goes to the paypal page. A new pending payment order should be place in pending payment. So we can save non-paying customer details. After paying with paypal the order is placed in “processing”, which is correct. How do i get the order to be placed in “pending payment” if the “place order” button is clicked?

    Most of the feedback we get from people is that they don’t want the orders to be left if they PayPal checkout is not completed. I understand the reason to keep them, though.

    What we’ll probably do is add a new option in the settings so you can “Save abandoned checkouts as Pending” or not depending on your needs.

    We are working on getting the 1.2.0 update released here very soon, and then we can get this added in the 1.2.1 follow-up to that.
