PayPal Express Checkout 1.4.2 – Further Errors

    Following 1.4.2 update of PayPal Express Checkout:

    For public notice, as I have alerted Angelleye to these already:

    1. No processing/confirmation email is now sent to the customer.

    2. The Name shows up as GUEST on the order, whereas before it showed the name of the recipient.

    3. Normal payment window still showing on checkout.

  • I have not experienced either of these problems with 1.4.2 when using PayPal Express Checkout.

    We’ll be looking into these things and making any necessary adjustments in 1.4.3.

    We have made some adjustments based on these feedback items. Changes will be included in the 1.4.3 update coming soon. If you’d like to update early to verify the fix you can download the release branch and update it manually on your site.
