    Hi there,

    There’s been some customer feedback that they place an order and they didn’t receive the confirmation email. such as orders #66045 and #66046, there’s the same customer.? eg: https://snipboard.io/TF0jAi.jpg

    However, I found that PayPal received the money from #66045, but #66045 had no address, name, phone number, and other information. (Now the billing and shipping information in the background of the website are added by me later and sent to the customer) #66046 has that information but the payment failed.

    Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

    I believe this issue is related to a known issue that is caused by the billing details validation is not timed correctly and lets the PayPal modal/popup be triggered when added mandatory fields are not checked/selected yet.

    This occurs for our current version 2.2.0, and we have already got a package available that should resolve this problem. You can?download it here?and overwrite the current plugin by installing it manually.

    If that does not resolve the issue, please let us know and we can take a closer look. The package is based on the current version 2.2.0, and it will also be included in our upcoming release 2.2.1.

    Thanks for your help.

    That’s great! The problem has been fixed.

    However, some customers tell us that they were paid but I checked and have not received any funds. It seems a new problem.

    That sounds like something went wrong with an Alternative Payment Method (such as Venmo or iDEAL). When such a payment is pushed, the order can fail to be created, and you won’t see any PayPal transaction anywhere. This failure should get automatically corrected after some time (could be 3 days), when the bank declines the payment, since there is no Transaction available for it.

    If this is not the case, we might need to take a look at other details of the transaction in order to know what is happening. If this is required, please open a private engagement to our support team here.
