That typically happens if you’re trying to use Express Checkout with a personal PayPal account. In order to use Express Checkout you need to upgrade to a business account.

Business accounts are still free unless you go with Payments Pro, which would then cost $30/mo. You do need to have a business account setup to use it, though.

Thanks very much for your great plugin.

I also received this emailed message:
    DoEExpressCheckoutPayment API call failed
    Error Code: 10002
    Error severity code: error
    Short Error message: Authentication/authorization Failed
Detailed Error Message: You do not have permissions to make this API call

Express Checkout is NoTenabled in the PayPal settings.

Order details show an order being processed via PayPal Express for 0 dollars and no shipping address.

Thanks so much for your time.

@webflight, as I mentioned in the previous answer, this typically only happens if the account is a personal account. Have you already verified that is not the case here?
